Product Details
Elegant flower heads with spidery petals and long filaments that curl backward like eyelashes are handsomely displayed atop the sturdy, leafless stems of Lycoris aurea. Planted in large swaths among perennials and ground covers, these beauties create a dramatic display in the fall border. Exquisite in containers, too. A long-lasting cut flower when picked as the first buds begin to open.
The members of this genus are longtime favorites in the South. They bear clusters of funnel-shaped flowers on tall stems. Lycoris can take a season to bloom, but once established, they are long lived. Deer and rodent resistant.
