Product Details
Warm up a porch or patio for autumn with the vivid orange hues of our exclusive Pumpkin Colors Collection, which combines three perennials, one annual, and two different dried botanicals for a seasonal show. The multitudinous Daisy-like blossoms of perennial Chrysanthemum ‘Pumpkin Igloo’ feature orange petals with bright yellow centers. They blend beautifully with the small but plentiful trumpet-shaped flowers of annual Diascia Piccadillyâ„¢ Dark Orange, and the cinnamon-orange fronds and red highlights of the perennial Autumn Fern Dryopteris erythrosora ‘Brilliance.’ Glimmers of gold are provided by the green- and yellow-variegated blades of perennial Ornamental Grass Carex oshimensis ‘Eversheen.’ Adding interest are the tall spikes of dried cattails and the distinctive round seed heads of dried Lotus pods, both in a rich suede brown. Welcome the autumn season with this colorful container mix, and surround it with pumpkins, cabbages, and other fall favorites. As the fall season nears its end, the perennials may be transplanted into the garden where they will return year after year. 6 plants total and stems of 2 dried elements, quantities of each are listed below.
- 2 Dryopteris erythrosora ‘Brilliance’ – Autumn Fern
- 2 Diascia Piccadillyâ„¢ Dark Orange

Some plants require more space in container gardens than others. To accommodate the 6 plants in this collection, we recommend a container at least 16″ in diameter and 12″ deep.
This collection is shown in our medium Franklin Park Oblong Pot, which is sold separately. Click to order.
If you choose to overwinter your plants, they will need a little special treatment. Although we can’t guarantee your plants’ successful return next year, here are our best recommendations.
In climates where winter temperatures drop well below freezing, containers should be dismantled in late fall. The Fern, Ornamental Grass and Chrysanthemum are perennial and they can be planted in the ground. Simply discard the Diascia, which is an annual and will not survive in areas below 20°F. In mild-winter climates (Zone 8 and warmer), these plants can be left outdoors in containers.
