Product Details
Edge a sunny border or carpet the ground with carefree Stachys ‘Summer Crush’, which produces 18″ bicolor flower spikes in shades of pink and white. The flowers are held upright on almost leafless stems above clumps of green foliage. The deer-resistant, clay-tolerant plants spread by rhizome and will spread gradually in evenly moist, sunny spots. Mature plants have some resistance to drought. Great planted in multiples adjacent to dark purple bloomers.
Stachys is a large and diverse genus in the Mint family that includes many valuable garden plants. They prefer full sun and well-drained soil, but will tolerate drought and get by in a bit of shade.
