After testing for a score of years in Holland and America, a series of Darwin Hybrid Tulips has proved to provide up to three years (sometimes more) of splendid bloom, with bud counts actually increasing for the first three years. To assure optimum success with this remarkable strain, we recommend the basics of good Tulip culture: deep planting, a regular spring and fall feeding with a bulb fertilizer, deadheading after bloom, allowing the leaves to yellow before removing, and minimal watering in summer. Though they will never have the permanence of Daffodils, the White Flower Farm Classic Perennial Tulip Mix far surpasses the performing life of Tulips as we knew it.

This mixture includes more or less equal amounts of each of the 6 perennial Tulip varieties we offer: Pink, Red, Ivory, Yellow, Orange, and Red-and-Yellow varieties. Bulbs are not labeled. 25 bulbs cover 5 sq ft.

Please note, your Perennial Tulip collection will contain either Tulip WFF Orange Perennial or Tulip Daydream, an equally perennial variety.
